Edging machine selection guide

There are many types of edge grinding machines, and the choice depends on the characteristics of the products being processed, the scale of production, etc. Taking the rounding machine as an example, there are edging machines that can grind rounded edges, such as contour machines, linear rounding machines, profiling machines, linear double-sided rounding machines, etc. How to choose must be combined with the requirements of the products being processed. If the product designed and processed is round, oval or other special-shaped glass, you can only choose a special-shaped machine or profiling machine (the straight-line edge rounding machine cannot grind round or special-shaped workpieces). If you design and process many types of products and have small batches, it is more suitable to choose a special-shaped machine, because it is more convenient to replace products with a special-shaped machine, and the machine price is relatively cheap. If the products to be designed and processed are small in variety and the batch size is relatively large, it is more suitable to choose a copier, because the copier has high production efficiency and can easily ensure processing accuracy.

If the product designed and processed is rectangular or rectangular glass, you can only choose a linear rounding machine or a linear double rounding machine (because irregular machines and profiling machines generally cannot grind straight rounded edges). When the product precision requirements are not very high and the production batch is not too large, choose a general straight-line rounding machine (because its price is relatively low); if the product requires high precision and the production batch is large, it is more suitable to choose a straight-edge double-sided rounding machine.
