CNC lathe processing sequence

During the processing of CNC lathe, the processing objects are complex, especially the shape and position of some contour curves have changed, and different materials and batches increase the difficulty of processing. Therefore, when formulating the processing sequence of specific parts, specific analysis and difference processing should be carried out first, and flexible processing should be carried out. This can ensure the order and rationality of processing. Thereby improving production efficiency and harvesting high-quality products. Two levels of issues should be fully considered in programming, one is the processing sequence, and the other is parameters, such as speed, feed amount, and cutting depth.

The processing sequence is generally: drilling first, then flattening. This prevents shrinkage when drilling; roughing first, then finishing; large tolerances first, then small tolerances.

Orders should usually be executed according to the following principles:

1. The processing of the previous process cannot affect the positioning and clamping of the next process, and the processing technology of general lathes should also be considered comprehensively.

2. Advanced in-line cavity processing sequence and molding process.

3. Among multiple processes in the same installation, the process that causes less rigid damage to the workpiece should be arranged first.

4. The same positioning and clamping methods or the same tool processing technology should be connected first to reduce the number of repeated positioning, tool changes and plate moving times.

5. The inner and outer intersections are the inner surfaces (inner cavities), and the outer surfaces are the parts to be processed. The processing sequence should be arranged, with rough machining of the inner and outer surfaces first, and then finishing of the inner and outer surfaces.
