What are the causes of early failure of CNC turning and milling composite lathes?

The so-called early failure period refers to the initial stage of using exponential control turning and milling compound lathes, from the installation and debugging of the whole machine to about one year of operation. The fault characteristics of this stage are high failure frequency, which decreases rapidly with the increase of use time. The reasons for frequent failures in the early stages of use are roughly as follows:

1. Mechanical part.

Although the CNC turning and milling compound lathe has been running before leaving the factory, the time is short, mainly the running-in of the spindle and the guide rail. Due to micro and macro geometric errors on the machined surface of the part, the machined surface of the part is still relatively rough before complete running-in, and there may be errors in the assembly of the parts. Therefore, in the early use of CNC turning and milling composite lathes, greater wear will occur, resulting in larger gaps between the relative moving parts of the equipment, leading to failure.

2. Electrical part.

CNCturning and milling composite lathe uses a large number of electronic components. Although these components have been screened for a long time in the factory through aging tests and other methods, in actual use, due to factors such as circuit heating, AC load, surge current and reverse potential, some components with poor performance cannot withstand the test. Due to current surge or voltage breakdown, the entire system cannot work properly, or the characteristic curve changes.

3. Hydraulic part.

Due to the long transportation and installation stage after leaving the factory, some parts of the hydraulic system have been without oil for a long time, the lubricating oil in the cylinder is dry, and the oil mist lubrication cannot work immediately, resulting in corrosion of the hydraulic cylinder or cylinder. In addition, if newly installed air ducts are not cleaned, some debris and moisture may also enter the system, causing initial failure of the hydropneumatic part.
